POST 6: TIME TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE

Hi everyone!

According to science, the phenomenon of "time travel" is theoretically and technically possible. I think that as humans we shouldn't be able to manipulate space and time, because that action is unethical considering the natural course of history. However, if you ask me about what kind of place I would like to visit on time travel, I would probably choose Chile in 2100.

Two years ago in my country, we lived a historical event called "Estallido Social". In that event, massive protests took place around the national territory. People demanded a lot of social and political changes, so I want to see in the future if those changes were finally realized in 2100. Also, It could be interesting to see how are the cities in the future. Can you imagine how they will be?

You can call me crazy, but the future can be terrible. What if we're worse off than today? Sincerely, I couldn't bear it. So, if I would like to stay there? It will depend on the situation of the country, but probably not. In the future, all my friends and family are going to be dead. Without company, I'd be terribly bored.

Finally, I'm going to work at present to make Chile the one who we dreamed of after 18 of October. I shall not give up! I promise.

  1. I think one of the worst scenarios would be that Chile will no longer exist due to climate change.

  2. Hello Eric. I hope that our country will have changed by 2100 . We have to be positive and think that everything will be better

  3. Hi Eric! I agree with you, I hope the world improves, but I am very afraid that that will never happen and we are worse than now. People are very cruel.

  4. Hi Eric! I agree with you very much. The planet, at the moment, is doomed to disappear!

  5. Hi Eric, I hadn't thought about that big "but", that my friends and family will be gone in the future :( so I too would opt for a fleeting, round trip.

  6. Hello, your post makes me think of the many hopes that are raised from the springs, without a doubt the Chilean spring of 2019 marks a whole generation

  7. Hi Eric, your conviction it's amazing, I agree with you with the opinion that the future could be worse than the present, and that scares me too.

  8. I also think that the future is very uncertain and can be disappointing. That's why I prefer to travel in the past, of course in theory haha!

  9. Nice phrasing:

"What if we're worse off than today?"
